EMC increased its bid for DATA Domain in bidding competition with Netapp. Instead of 30 dollar for each share in cash wants to pay the STORAGE offerer now dollar for each share to 33.50. The Gessamtwert of the transaction rises thereby from 1.9 billion dollar to approximately 2.1 billion dollar. The offer runs out around midnight New Yorker time on 17 July.
